Our Children and Young People’s committee in Hampstead had been discussing the possibility of planning an All Age Worship for some time. At our regular meeting in March we decided to take the plunge and fix a date!
The Kites Are Flying! by Michael Morpurgo – newly purchased for our children and young people’s library section – seemed the perfect setting for our shared worship. It is a poignant story with a stark ‘message’ that is topical and relevant to both young people as well as adults. The story confronts current issues concerning other young people in a different part of the world.
