Author Jane Duncan Rogers believes that living a full life means embracing the end of it also

Recently, an article in The Daily Telegraph entitled ‘We need to talk about death’ highlighted the way that we in the UK (and arguably the whole of Western society) are treating the one thing that will happen to us all.

For example, despite over seventy per cent of people wishing to die at home, over half of all deaths happen in hospital. Many people don’t even know that you are ‘allowed’ to die at home. Many have reached a ripe old age but have never seen a dead body and, thus, we tend to be frightened. The unknown is always a scary place, until experienced first hand, and even then it can still cause anxiety.
