The roof at Settle Meeting House has been replaced
The roof of Settle Meeting House has been stripped, repaired and replaced.
Settle Meeting treasurer John Asher told the Friend that ‘while the Meeting house cost just £80 to build in 1678, the 2015 repair bill for the roof alone will be some £30,000’.
